Position Summary: Trend Micro is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Cloud who is passionate

about:

modern cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and AI-powered platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in direct customer engagement and excels at helping organizations design scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions. You will partner closely with leaders across Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, Channel, Marketing, and Customer Success to guide customers along their cloud and security transformation journey while expanding the reach and impact of our platform.

As a trusted cloud and security advisor, you will influence outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle by architecting solutions, leading strategic discussions, and guiding customers through cloud adoption, modernization, and security best practices. You will serve as the bridge between customer goals and our end-to-end cloud and security capabilities, driving long-term value, adoption, and advocacy.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary cloud architecture and security advisor for enterprise customers, guiding them through the design, evaluation, deployment, and optimization of cloud and hybrid solutions.

• Develop a deep understanding of customer cloud journeys, challenges, and

requirements:

to align platform capabilities with measurable business and security outcomes.

• Lead high-impact demos, architectural deep dives, whiteboard sessions, and cloud strategy presentations for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Design and validate secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, integrating Zero Trust principles, identity models, network segmentation, and posture management.
• Build and strengthen relationships with cloud partners, MSSPs, GSIs, and ecosystem integrators to accelerate cloud adoption and expansion.

Represent the company as a cloud thought leader at industry events, panels, webinars, and field engagements.

• Create cloud-focused enablement content including reference architectures, diagrams, demos, videos, and best-practice guides to support internal teams and partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure aligned execution and an exceptional customer

• Provide structured feedback and insights to Product Management regarding cloud security gaps, customer

• Lead and support cloud Proof of Concepts (POCs), ensuring measurable technical and business validation aligned with customer outcomes.

Travel within the U.S. for customer engagements, industry events, partner meetings, and strategic field initiatives.

in cloud engineering, cybersecurity, networking, systems engineering, computer science, or related technical fields. 5+ years of

experience:

as a Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, Sales/Pre-Sales Engineer, or related technical customer-facing role. Proven

experience:

engaging technical decision-makers and executives across enterprise environments. Strong understanding of public cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) including VPC/VNET design, IAM, networking, serverless, compute, and data security. Broad technical acumen across cloud security, cybersecurity, networking, AI, DevOps, automation, and IT modernization.

Experience:

• designing/architecting solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.

Ability to quickly learn emerging technologies and navigate a fast-evolving cloud and cybersecurity landscape. Excellent communication, whiteboarding, and storytelling

skills:

Qualifications:

Experience:

working in fast-paced SaaS, cloud, or cybersecurity startup environments. Familiarity with cloud security technologies such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, XDR, SIEM, or cloud-native analytics platforms. Hands-on

experience:

with API integrations, automation, scripting, or lightweight coding (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Experience:

running cloud architecture workshops, security maturity assessments, or executive briefings. Background in cloud operations, threat detection, DevSecOps, or incident response.

Experience:

enabling or working with MSSPs, GSIs, or cloud partners. Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks (SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA). Strong technical storytelling ability capable of translating deep cloud architecture concepts into clear customer value. Enthusiasm for mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing across teams.

Experience:

applying AI/ML in cloud and security environments, including LLM-driven automation, posture analytics, or cloud threat detection. Preferred Certifications AWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect. CISSP, CCSP, Security+, CySA+, or other ISACA/ISC2 certifications.
