About:
the role Responsible for building, integrating, and deploying Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions - transforming high-level Agentic Architectures into robust, production-ready systems. Partners closely with the AI Solution Lead, data engineering, software engineering to implement industry-quality AI systems.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on knowledge of LLMs, retrieval systems, agentic architecture, evaluation frameworks, and enterprise-grade deployment patterns. Key Accountabilities: AI Solution Engineering & Implementation: Build AI engineering applications at Trustmark and take full ownership of solution development and delivery.
- Work with AI Solution Lead to implement AI solutions - agentic workflows, tool integration, orchestration patterns, retrieval and RAG design, guardrails, observability.
Convert solution designs into working prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-grade modules.
- Develop agentic workflows, tool-calling flows, and automation steps using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, and workflow tools like n8n.
- Implement system integrations with enterprise APIs, databases, authentication layers, and cloud services.
- Ensure all components meet performance, reliability, security, and compliance standards.
Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging AI, GenAI, and agentic technologies, frameworks, and tools to propose innovative solutions and ensure the AI tech stack remains current. Product Delivery & Technical Execution: Translate business

into working AI solutions, focusing on coding, integration, and deployment.
- Execute end-to-end delivery of AI features, from prototyping and testing to deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Build and maintain production-grade pipelines for data ingestion, model training, and inference using MLOps best practices with focus on generative models.
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage advancements in generative AI for solution enhancements.
Technical Support & Documentation: Provide technical troubleshooting and support for deployed AI solutions, ensuring smooth operation and quick resolution of issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of SDLC process, AI architecture, workflows, operational guidelines, and troubleshooting steps for maintainability and knowledge transfer.
- Assist internal teams with technical queries related to AI solution deployment and integration.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a closely related technical field. 5+ years of hands-on
experience:
in AI/ML engineering, applied data science, or intelligent systems Hands-on
experience:
- developing and deploying solutions using traditional AI/ML solutions including predictive modeling, NLP, optimization, and anomaly detection.
Practical
experience:
- developing and deploying AI solutions using LLM and agentic frameworks - LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen.
Strong hands-on proficiency in Python for application and ML development; Solid data curation

organizing, validating, and maintaining high‑quality datasets; building reliable batch/stream workflows for ongoing retraining and data refreshing. Proficient with foundational Generative AI models (e.g., Open AI, Llama, Gemini, Claude) and of fine-tuning techniques and prompt engineering. Preferred: Multi-Agent System Development: full functional development
experience:
in designing and orchestrating multi-agent workflows, defining agent roles, communication protocols, task decomposition, and integration automation tools such n8n or similar workflow engines. Expert-level certification and deep expertise in a major cloud provider's AI/ML stack. MLOps: MLflow/Kubeflow, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), plus feature stores/model registries.
