Job Description
Trustmark is seeking a motivated and curious college intern to support the development of AI-driven solutions for IT-focused case studies. This role is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving, building solutions or proofs of concept, and exploring how emerging technologies can improve IT service delivery.
The 2026 Summer Internship Program runs from June 1 to August 7.
- Supports the development of AI-driven solutions for IT-focused case studies.
- Responsible for problem-solving, building solutions or proofs of concept, and exploring how emerging technologies can improve IT service delivery.
Key Accountabilities Develop 1‑page case studies focused on IT use cases such as: ServiceNow (e.g., virtual AI assistant, intelligent routing), Digital forms (i-Forms), and AI models that evaluate delivery health, identify issues, and surface themes Assess IT challenges and propose AI-driven experiments or solution concepts.
Time permitting, design and deliver prototype solutions or proofs of concept.
- Collaborate with IT teams to understand processes, pain points, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
Minimum Requirements:
GPA 3.2 Must be receiving a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in winter or spring/summer following the program dates to be considered for the program.
Experience:
with Python and SQL. Exposure to UI development or UI frameworks. Interest in AI/ML, automation, and experimentation. Interest in cloud engineering (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Strong analytical
skills:
with the ability to break down problems and propose creative solutions. Preferred Curiosity and a willingness to learn. Creative problem-solving capability. Strong analytical thinking. Ability to assess use cases, define solution options, and communicate recommendations clearly. The
