Department PATIENT TRANSPORT TEAM - 206014 Worker Sub Type Regular Work Shift First Shift (United States of America) Pay Grade 102 Job
Description:
Transporter is responsible for patient transport by stretcher, wheelchair or cookie chair to designated locations throughout the facility. Upon request, transports medications with patients and connects patients to O2, if needed.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification & Licensures BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required * BCLS training provided
Qualifications:
Previous healthcare
experience:
preferred Ability to transport patients in wheelchairs, stretchers or cookie chairs required Ability to stand or walk for periods of time required Ability to use handheld electronic devices/computers required Excellent documentation
