As a Merchandiser for OTW and Energy Collaborations, you will work within the Global Apparel Merchandising team, focusing on our most elevated product categories and high-profile collaborations.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver consumer-right assortments that reflect Vans’ brand vision and cultural leadership. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Merchandising. Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Own seasonal merchandising strategy and line architecture for this category, ensuring alignment with brand vision and financial goals.
- Develop global merchandising briefs by gathering and analyzing financials, competitor insights, line plans, and regional input.
Rank styles and optimize assortments based on historical and current product performance, identifying redundancies and opportunities for growth.
- Conduct trend and competitor research to inform seasonal direction and identify new consumer-driven opportunities.
Partner with Design and Product Development to source and develop new fabrications; attend fittings and review product details to ensure design integrity and quality standards.
- Maintain and update line plans throughout the season, ensuring accuracy and adherence to calendar milestones.
- Prepare and present materials for key meetings, including line reviews and milestone presentations, driving alignment across global and regional teams.

you will need in this position are: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Product Development, Business Administration, or equivalent

in apparel and footwear merchandising that demonstrates strong product and market understanding. Deep understanding of industry trends, consumer behavior, and cultural influences that drive product decisions. Strong

in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with
experience:
in PLM systems; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus. Ability to interpret financial data, manage line plans, and maintain accuracy across multiple seasonal milestones. Excellent interpersonal and presentation
skills:
to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment globally. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and adhering to calendar processes. Ability to foster a collaborative environment with Design, Development, Planning, and Regional Merchandising teams to achieve shared goals.
