    Our Forest Park location is open 6 days a week offering early morning shifts beginning at 4:45AM to cater to our patients’ schedules. Patient sessions run from 5:30AM to 6:30PM. As a dialysis technician, you’ll work 3 days a week, with every other Saturday included. Our facility features 24 dialysis stations and a team consisting of 6 Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians and 2 Registered Nurses.

    Description:

    Primary Duties &

    Responsibilities:

    Arranges and maintains equipment and supplies for performance of dialysis and other procedures, including preparation of Dialysate solutions.

    • Performs cannulation, initiates, monitors and discontinues dialysis treatment.

    Observes and monitors patient vital signs and significant dialysis treatment parameters; assesses patient signs and symptoms and provides treatment accordingly.

    • Communicates pertinent patient information or changes in patient condition to the team leader; documents these results per unit's policies.

    Transports, weighs and assists patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers and chairs.

    • Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and responds to patient concerns in a timely manner.
