The Westfield Area YMCA is looking for a caring and compassionate individual to work as an EMT in our summer camp program with children between the ages of 3-15 years old. Primary Responsibilities Responds to all emergencies that arise within camp and signs off on incident reports
- Responsible for maintaining camp first aid supplies and kits
- Assists in preparing allergy list for campers and reviewing proper medical procedures and prevention
- Assists with labeling and tracking of all medications for each camper
- Monitors and reviews the medical log books for each camp site
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Job Type: Seasonal June 1, 2026 – August 28, 2026
Requirements:
Must be a certified EMT or licensed RN/LPN Must have a driver's license and own transportation Must be a minimum of age 18 Strong organizational and communication skills Enjoys working with children
