Wheeling Park Day Camp Counselor

• Assist day camp director in the operations of the day camp.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Organizes specific games for own group, actively participates in games.
• Watches pool for crowd control.
• Assists children with crafts.
• Prepares and follows lesson plans.
• Supervises water slide.
• Encourages harmony among children.
• Participates in all special days on calendar of events.
• Walks children to car.
• Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
