We’re hiring a Garage Parts Clerk to Live. Work. Explore. at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon!

Job Summary:

• Prepare work orders, order parts, maintain inventory, coordinate daily garage operations and provide customer service.

The Details:

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Pay: $15.75 per hour

• Schedule: May include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare appropriate documents as needed to initiate company and customer repairs.

Order parts from approved vendors and research other supply streams if required.

• Maintain accurate controls for all inventory using the established record keeping policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records and schedule service as required, and in a timely fashion.
• Maintain accurate records for all company vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate electronic files for vehicle work orders and cost data for accounting.

Dispatch wrecker calls and ensure paperwork is completed properly by driver.

• Perform cashier functions for the garage following all Xanterra South Rim cashier policies and procedures.
• Assist with garage inventory as directed by management.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.:

Basic accounting skills to assist in managing accounts and to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Basic automotive parts background, with reference to parts ordering and proper inventory controls. Retail and cashiering experience with all forms of payment. Possess or obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License, and comply with the Company Driver Safety Program.

Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills with ability to provide explicit instructions and directions. Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
