QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years of age and pass pre-employment background checks/drug screening. Four years of college with 2 years of experience administering a child care/educational program, which includes staff supervisory experience OR Two years of college with 30 hours in business or management, child or youth development, or related field and 2 years experience administering a child care/educational program, which includes staff supervisory experience OR
High school diploma with 4 years experience administering a child care/educational program and 30 hours of TECTA administrator or Child Development Associate (CDA); staff supervisory experience. Current CPR/AED, First Aid and Child Abuse Training or obtain with 30 days of hire date. Complete all components of licensing requirements for Mississippi State Department of Health or Tennessee Department of Human Services.
YOUR IMPACT:
Supervise all camp counselors, providing leadership and guidance. Actively participate in all camper activities to create an engaging and dynamic experience.
- Plan and coordinate daily activities
Prioritize camper safety at all times, both on-site and during outings. Be a positive role model, fostering a fun, inclusive, and structured camp environment. Uphold camp policies and address behavioral issues with professionalism and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming camp space for all participants.
