Evening Park Ranger - Team Lead

Under the direction of the Grounds Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the daily operation and supervision of Gunstock�s security team. In the absence of the Grounds Manager, this position acts as the supervisor-on-duty. This is a working supervisor role and will be doing security rounds as well as other duties required of security personnel when needed. Position pay range is $20-22/hr. DOE This position is for evenings, approximately 3pm to midnight.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safety and security of all resort facilities and campground.
• Respond rapidly to late night disturbances, such as noise complaints and alcohol-related incidents, and document all guest incidents when necessary.
• Conduct nightly patrols throughout the campground and interact with all guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Ensure all guests uphold resort rules and procedures and contact emergency services as needed.
• Provide assistance with the scheduling and coordination of personnel to maintain appropriate guest service levels; monitor attendance and scheduling issues.
• Provide clear and direct coaching to employees to address guest service, safety, performance, attendance, appearance or conduct issues; notify the Grounds Manager when corrective action may be needed.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time, be able to move about the facility on a regular basis and occassionally move up to 25lbs
• This position is subject to a post offer background check
• Must be able to work outside in variable outdoor weather.
