At Sportsman's Finest we strive to make every customer a customer for life and we strive to achieve a work environment that fuels our passion and desire to get up in the mornings, without compromising our careers or our dreams.

We believe that we can change the outdoor industry with our concept that scales out of Sportsman's Finest. What if the outdoors contained an all-encompassing lifestyle brand that didn't polarize the many segments of the outdoors, but united them? Who Are We Looking For?

Driven, curious, kind, individuals who want to grow and surround themselves with other A-Players and grow something they’re proud of. This is a sales role with an emphasis on the Firearms side of the store. This is a part-time listing.

You’ll be flanked by a fantastic team but the expectations are steep. We are determined to build a best in industry team! 

To get there, we have a few basic rules. No ego, hold thick skin, maintain high energy, find ways to initiate, look to innovate, maintain a strong desire to learn, and remain kind to others around you.

What is Sportsman's Finest?

The store is now under new ownership with a vision for the future.  It's Central Texas' finest Hunting & Fly Fishing store, but we pride our selves in being better educated, kinder, and harder working. Specializing in 15+ years of high-end customer service, our atmosphere is that of a giant log cabin and our property speaks to the ethos of the outdoors. We have 6,000+ square feet of retail and we carry the coolest and hardest to get Fly Fishing, Fine Firearms, Archery, Hiking, and Hunting equipment in the industry. On the firearm side we have brands like Blaser, Manners, NightForce, Sitka, Thunder Beast, Sig, B&T, Beretta, Benelli, custom Glocks, Ruger, CZ, H&K, Trijicon, our own custom Precision Rifles, Surefire, Q, Pulsar, an enormous class 3 collection, a strong trade-in market both classic and contemporary and many more—you’re sure to have your hands full with the best tools and toys in the market.

More About Us

We expect a lot from our candidates. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. You will need to cross-train. You will be surrounded by a team that will push you to become the best version of yourself. Attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn are critical. In the beginning, you will have to work really hard to design your department around your vision. You will do a lot more than just sell firearms. You will be expected to grow shoulder to shoulder with others that are highly motivated and pushing themselves to do the same.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the purchase of the appropriate products, and merchandise.
• Demonstrate and communicate in-depth knowledge of products to the customer.
• Exceed customer expectations
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of store and merchandise.
• Desire to cross-train self to become a uniquely valuable team player.
• Help to integrate sales through GunBroker.com. 

Qualifications

• Knowledge of firearms and firearm safety
• Big Bonus to those who have knowledge in Fly Fishing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to meet Federal requirements for handling and processing firearm transactions
• Ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Willingness to embrace technology
• Willingness to learn about many brands and products
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent Attitude
• 21 years of age or older
• Previous criminal convictions prevent a Federal Firearms License from hiring candidates with a past record.
