JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians (ACBCI) seeks an Operations Manager for its maturing Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO). The Manager’s primary job function is to assist the Director of Tribal Historic Preservation by ensuring that the highest quality of work is carried out in all aspects of the department team members and operation. The Manager will conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner in the THPO environment and work as a dynamic team member to foster interdepartmental work productivity and relationships; and serve as an ambassador for the Tribal Historic Preservation Office which includes three divisions: General Operations includes Development Review, Cultural Monitoring Program and Cultural Resource Management.

To perform the job successfully the individual must be mobile, be able to sit, use hands to type, reach, talk and hear. Be able to work in heat for short periods of time. Light lifting; be able to perform field inspections and respond to discovery calls.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment but may frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time in and out of Palm Springs, California area.
