What You’d Do:
- Work in remote backcountry locations, on snowmobile trails, and on the water — in all kinds of weather.
- Perform heavy physical labor year-round, including hiking in winter conditions.
- Maintain, repair, and improve parks, trails, vessels, vehicles, and public facilities.
- Interact with the public and enforce civil infractions when necessary.
- Use a variety of skills including construction, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and welding.

Do You Have What It Takes?
- Minimum of 3 years’ related experience (Park Ranger, grounds maintenance, heavy equipment, mechanics, electrical, plumbing, welding, or millwright work) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid or obtainable Class “A” CDL (preference for those who already have it)
- Ability to obtain First Aid and Advanced CPR certification within 1 year
- Ability to obtain State of Idaho Boater Safety, Department Vessel Operators, Snowgroomer, Snowmobile/UTV/ATV, and Watercraft certifications within 1 year
