Summary
Provide leadership and organization for the Guides taking guests into Dry Gulch on Cat Tours including safety and first aid coverage for the skiing/snowboarding public. Assist the Ski Patrol Director and Assistant Patrol Director in selecting, training, scheduling, and supervision of all Dry Gulch Ski Guide operations. Develop and upgrade all Guiding procedures and operations. Responsible for skier/snowboarder safety, while touring in Dry Gulch. Supervising and leading Guides who are Guiding Cat Tour customers through backcountry terrain in the Dry Gulch permit area. Along with Snow Safety assessing snowpack in Dry Gulch zone and performing avalanche mitigation work as needed. Performing ski ability evaluation of Cat Tour customers. Providing emergency response and basic EMS care in the Dry Gulch permit area.
