About the role

The Sales Operations Specialist will be the commercial interface between sales and functional teams, by supporting and tracking in the delivery of financial targets and Business KPI’s. Along with updating & maintaining the B2B system across Home and Outdoor brands.

What you’ll do in the role

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare, review and distribute recurring reports on unit and revenue analysis to track Sales and Revenue at a country and sales manager level. 

  • Tracking monthly shipping targets and developing and effective process that provides accountability and greater accuracy in the regional sales teams

  • Roll up and feedback of monthly shipping, and future sales planning.

  • Work with internal and external sales teams to create sales forecasts by region

  • Work with Sales Managers to elaborate the strategic plans for each region.

  • Carry out deep dive into GTM activation points and validate growth categories and product opportunity. 

  • Adhoc Analysis and reporting for internal departments & sales team.

Business Intelligence

  • Summarise / identify key opportunities with wholesale sell in performance (seasonally)

  • Implement common reporting using the Key retailer sales data

  • Summarise/ report wholesale Sell out data, looking at future projections to identify and prevent risks and opportunities (weekly)

  • Use different sources of data to update the business with market trends, trade statistics and general business insight.

  • Gather and provide insight to continuously improve analysis and tools

B2B NU Order Portal (OXO, OSPREY, HYDRO FLASK)

  • Data upload & maintenance in season

  • Assign/ removing contacts in NU Order

  • Review customer groups in alignment with selective distribution

  • Monitor Analytics on NU Order (Updating wider business)

  • Line list and catalogue creation for both Preseason & ASAP business

  • Central contact regarding NU Order- Making sure each department hits deadlines for new season etc

  • Email Campaigns and updates (Internal & External)

Sales Operations

  • Ensure all seasonal sales tools are updated & available (Financial tracking)

  • Management of DOTS, Preseason tracking

  • Rolling up sales forecast for preseason & new product development

  • Commercial Interface between sales and cross functions

  • Attend all EUSM and provide adhoc analysis for GTM process.

Project & Process

  • Document process and procedures (Best practise)

  • Process efficiency- influencing and improving the sales workflow

  • Project work (Participate in various projects including Data Mapping & Selective distribution.

What will help you do the job well

🗝 Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years’ of sales and/or planning operations

  • 3+ years in related industry in sales or operations is a plus: outdoor, sporting goods and consumer goods

  • Experience with Reporting and using systems including Oracle, Power Bi, Sage, B2B Suites
