DescriptionAs a Reservations & Sales Intern, you will work closely with the sales and reservations teams to support research
initiatives and improve our competitive positioning. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting a competitive overview of cancellation terms, identifying industry standards and best practices.
- Researching and analyzing group-booking policies across competitors to inform Tauckβs strategy.
- Performing market research on airline cruise programs, assessing offerings, pricing, and benefits.
- Investigating wineries with travel programs, evaluating partnerships and potential opportunities.
- Organizing research findings into actionable insights and presenting recommendations.
- Collaborating with the sales and reservations teams to apply research to business strategies.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present research findings effectively.
- A detail-oriented approach to gathering and analyzing market data.
- The ability to research and interpret industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for organizing and presenting data.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
