Description

As a Reservations & Sales Intern, you will work closely with the sales and reservations teams to support research
initiatives and improve our competitive positioning. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a competitive overview of cancellation terms, identifying industry standards and best practices.
  • Researching and analyzing group-booking policies across competitors to inform Tauck’s strategy.
  • Performing market research on airline cruise programs, assessing offerings, pricing, and benefits.
  • Investigating wineries with travel programs, evaluating partnerships and potential opportunities.
  • Organizing research findings into actionable insights and presenting recommendations.
  • Collaborating with the sales and reservations teams to apply research to business strategies.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present research findings effectively.
  • A detail-oriented approach to gathering and analyzing market data.
  • The ability to research and interpret industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for organizing and presenting data.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
