Seasonal JOB TITLE: Host/Hostess DIVISION: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager LOCATION: Restaurant CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/Seasonal/Hourly POSITION: Solitude is on the search for a personable and sociable host/hostess to provide a warm first impression as customers arrive for their dining
experience:
You will be accompanied by an unbeatable view and great people. The host/hostess is to greet guests with a friendly smile and demeanor and is responsible for seating guests. The host will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be.
- Assisting servers with bussing tables and running food will be a helpful and beneficial role to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Excellent communication

Must be reliable and execute high-quality work while unsupervised Must have a friendly and outgoing personality Must be organized and have multitasking

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Capable of standing for extended periods of time Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and or certifications such as Food Handler’s Certificate and Sips and Tips (if 21+)

the menu and be able to make recommendations and answer guests’ questions Answer incoming phone calls and schedule reservations for customers Respond to complaints and help find a solution Clear and set tables Polish and organize silverware Help servers with anything they need i.e., running food, clearing plates, etc. Keep a clean, organized work environment to ensure the best customer
