    Washington Wage Range: 20.00-21.50 DOE JOB SUMMARY Safely and efficiently operate a ski lift, assist guests in safely loading and unloading the chairlift, conduct crowd control at lift lines, and enthusiastically and professionally interact with guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Safely and efficiently operate a ski lift Be attentive at the load and unload terminals; watching not only ramp, but all areas around your station Perform opening procedures at the ski lift and lift maze Assisting guests of all ages and abilities to load and unload chairlifts safely Enthusiastically interact with guests at every

    opportunity:

    • Prepare and maintain a safe and aesthetically pleasing workspace throughout the day as conditions change (shoveling, raking, moving snow) by completing physically demanding tasks Complete required documentation such as daily logs and other documents as needed, legibly and accurately Work independently or in groups to accomplish daily job-related tasks Maintain the lift chairs by removing snow, ice, and precipitation for guests Perform closing procedures at the ski lift and lift maze Conduct/manage crowd control in lift mazes Present yourself with a professional appearance and demeanor Be respectful to all employees and guests at all times Follow all skiing policies and codes Must be dependable and reliable This job

    desired PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position is required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours while in operation. Be able to work flexible work schedules Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move a minimum of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

    • Perform repetitive tasks Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, bending, reaching, speaking, and sitting on a constant basis.

    Working outside in extreme cold weather, in rain, and changing conditions for long periods of time Comfortable with riding all chairlifts and being at heights To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
