Job Summary: Development team focuses on fundamental skill development as well as athletic and personal growth. The Alpine U-System teams are focused on advanced to elite alpine racing skill development as well as athletic and personal growth. Race team coaches work with Development and Alpine Race Teams, with athletes ages 7-20.

Ski team coaches are responsible for the successful implementation of curriculum as developed and communicated by the Manager, Head Coach and or Director. Our Mission is to provide the best development opportunities for personal and athletic achievement while instilling passion for snow sports and appreciation of our Olympic history, legacy and legendary mountains.

Success is measured by the quality of the athlete and employee

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position.

Employee must be capable of skiing or snowboarding in all types of terrain in varying and sometimes hazardous snow and weather conditions. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, up to 90% or more of a normal work shift. Must be capable of frequently or constantly balancing, reaching, squatting, bending, kneeling, stooping, handling and twisting.

May require out of the ordinary skiing or snowboarding movements in order to assist children on the mountain. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting. pushing or pulling up to 75bs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
