POSITION SUMMARY The shops at Steamboat are looking for an Assistant Manager with at least one year of guest service and rental/retail
experience:
required. This position will be working in our fast paced Retail Rental shop - The Steamboat Store, focusing on our retail department. We are looking for prompt, accurate and professional folks who are self-motivated and positive at all times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Shop Manager Work schedule front line shifts, ringing up retail sales, keep store(s) stocked with products, merchandising, maintain the highest level of product knowledge Identify and supervise staff on equipment or facility maintenance projects Staff management including scheduling, training, teambuilding, coaching, and disciplinary action Must work under stressful situations while maintaining good customer relations Communicate directly and appropriately with guests regarding any issues and concerns that arise Maintaining proper inventory levels for expected guest volume in conjunction with all other shops.
Under direction of the Store Manager, administer budget and financial decisions concerning labor and expenses to meet operating budgets. Other duties as assigned
