Responsibilities:

Regularly inspect work quality and support development of policies, procedures, and training programs.

• Assist with onboarding, safety/environmental training, coaching, counseling, and performance management.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs; guide staff in troubleshooting, equipment upkeep, and evaluating new tools/techniques.
• Coordinate on-site contractors and manage inventory needs, including ordering and tracking parts.
• Support scheduling, assignments, payroll processes, and maintenance planning (daily/weekly/monthly/seasonal), adjusting as needed for weather.

Complete required records, logs, work orders, spreadsheets, and inventory documentation.

• Assist with recruiting, budgeting, capital planning, and data review to meet company goals.
• Help resolve departmental issues through meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews; document actions and ongoing needs.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure compliance with all procedures, PPE, and required trainings (Workday & Safety).

Education:

High School/GED; or 1 year Technical/University School for mechanics or 2 years apprenticeship Driving: Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program Preferred

Experience:

Must have ASE or equivalent certification in suspension & steering, electronics and brakes. Certified for State inspection license within 6 months.
