POSITION SUMMARY This position will work closely with the Logistics Supervisor in communicating and maintaining clean, efficient, and detailed operations regarding the goods and products that come to or pass through this facility. Must have a high level of understanding of on-mountain communication and safety protocols.
Must be able to ski or ride at an intermediate level. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Drive Snow cat as needed to deliver food and beverage to on mountain outlets Responsible for maintaining proper storage, quality, freshness and rotation of food and beverage products Maintaining a professional level of cleanliness in all work areas Loading and staging of goods to be transported out of base area, and manage their movement around SSRC locations Receive and confirm uploaded product pallets repack if necessary Loading of delivery pallets onto haul cats and on-road vehicles Facilitate recycling by overseeing the organization and downloading of all waste materials from mountain lodges Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Food Safety Knowledge – Basic handling and storing procedures familiarity with health department regulations Organizational
Skills:
– Must be able to organize and control mass quantities of products in transition from many points of origin to many points of destinations and be able to record and track when product deviates Strong knowledge of mountain trails, traffic patterns and operations Safely operate all heavy equipment, including on-snow haul cat in extreme winter conditions Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, summer heat and winter cold Ability to problem-solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards.
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to ski or ride at an intermediate level Must be able to lift up to 50lbs from head to floor level and back up Ability to walk on uneven slick conditions in extreme weather conditions Must be able to walk stairs – no elevator is available for employee use Must have excellent hand and eye coordination in order to safely operate heavy equipment on designated mountain trails in extreme weather conditions as well as safely maneuver haulcat around buildings and mountain warehouse receiving docks Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current Driver’s license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required Must be at least 18 years of age Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
