Overview
As a Tiger Takeoff Camp Counselor, you will lead and supervise campers, ensuring their safety and well-being, while participating in all activities and collaborating with staff to create a fun and supportive camp environment.
Compensation:
$550 stipend for Tiger Takeoff overnight camp held July 16-18, 2026 $10 per hour for training held July 14-15, 2026 Meals and Housing July 14-18. 2026 Uniform shirts and all conference materials

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and positive role modeling for campers, ensuring their safety and well-being
Stay overnight in assigned residence hall throughout the duration of the camp, actively participating in all activities and classroom instruction Offer excellent customer service by creating and implementing challenging, yet fun “hands-on” activities and games, while enforcing Auburn University policies and procedures consistently and non-threateningly
- Collaborate with fellow staff members, demonstrating patience, understanding, flexibility, and effective communication skills to achieve the common goal of providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable camp environment for all participants
Qualifications:
Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University Enrolled in classes during the previous semester and Fall Semester Be in good academic standing Satisfactory background check Attend two Spring Semester Training Sessions NOT enrolled in any summer classes or have any commitments that overlap with camp training July 14 -15, 2026, or Tiger Takeoff camp July 16-18, 2026
