Laundry Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY: Perform a variety of housekeeping duties including sorting, washing, and processing resort linen including bed linens, table linens, and towels. Laundry will then be folded, ironed, and stacked, all in accordance with company procedures and standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sort and separate laundry by color, fabric type, and cleaning

requirements:

Operate washers and dryers safely and efficiently, following proper procedures.

• Monitor laundry cycles to ensure timely completion and prevent equipment issues.

Inspect items for stains or damage before and after washing; treat stains as needed. Fold, hang, or organize clean laundry according to company standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Track inventory of laundry supplies and linens; notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with guest or staff laundry requests, ensuring timely and courteous service.

Label and store items properly to avoid loss or mix-ups. Work collaboratively with housekeeping and other departments to meet operational needs.
