Description:
In this role, you will conduct summer programming for children and assist in camp administration. Examples of Duties: Support the work of the leadership of a Recreation Department Facility Manager and Camp Director.
- Assist in running an all-day summer camp program at a City recreation center.
- Work with an assigned group of 10-12 campers; ages may range from 6 to 12.
- Adhere to a provided schedule of activities.
Camper activities include: swimming, arts and crafts, games, sports, and
education:
al enrichment.
- Monitor the safety and wellbeing of participants.
- Assist with sign-in and sign-out procedures for campers.
- Support supervision of camp employees and counselors in training.
- Communicate with parents and guardians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic
Qualifications:
Available to work Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 10:00 am - 6:00 pm for the summer camp season. Able to stand and walk outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for prolonged periods of time. Valid state-issued driver’s license

Experience:
