MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management
consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all
levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
- Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and
collaborative environment.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess
financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
ABOUT THE JOB:
Google’s Knowledge and Information Partnerships (K&IP) organization works with a wide range of external partners to help build Google products through product-enabling relationships (e.g., data licensing, content partnerships, API/platform integrations, and technology licensing). Some areas of K&IP include: Search, Shopping, Gemini, Maps, Local, Research and Machine
Intelligence, Core, and Social Impact. The Geo Business Development team leads our content partnerships, developer incubation initiatives and product growth strategy to enable capabilities, products, and offers across multiple ecosystems including the consumers (Google Maps and Waze), developers and automakers.
As Strategic Partner Development Manager, you are a key piece in relationship
- building that grows in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a working
knowledge of internal Google processes, products, and teams, and revels in managing partnerships for Google. You help foster and deepen relationships with key industry partners, execute agreements, and track impact, enabling Google to be successful. You possess proficiency in skills such as relationship-building,
negotiation, project management, and collaboration. You are a positive, team-player excited to help shape Google's future in geospatial-based experiences and capabilities and contribute meaningfully to building a positive and fun team culture.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search,
- Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create
product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own end-to-end partner experience to ensure agreement integration which
includes negotiating and finalizing contracts, executing on account plans, pitching to partners/suppliers, resolving partner issues and advocating on behalf of partners.
- Develop partner strategy, including new partner and opportunity prospecting.
- Conduct partner/industry research and collaborate on product strategy.
- Identify key stakeholders with Product, Engineering, Legal, GTM and other
cross-functional teams to build networks and contribute to cross-team collaborations.
- Coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for assigned component(s) of a
project.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of industry/vertical/market, and an
understanding of Google partner ecosystems.
