The Senior Product Release Leader plays a pivotal role within our Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) team, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

    As part of GSK’s manufacturing team, you will join a dynamic and collaborative environment, working alongside experts in quality assurance, supply chain management, and production operations. The Senior Product Release Leader will be at the forefront of our mission, driving the timely release of pharmaceutical products to market while maintaining the integrity of our processes and upholding GSK’s commitment to patient safety.

    In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Production, to ensure seamless coordination of processes and adherence to regulatory standards. You will be empowered to lead initiatives that optimize workflows, mitigate risks, and enhance efficiency across the product lifecycle.

    Position Summary:

    This role is an exciting opportunity to lead product release activities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will ensure timely and compliant product release while driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards and delivering results that matter.     Responsibilities:

    • Oversee product release processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to meet release timelines.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
    • Lead investigations into product release issues and develop corrective actions.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of product release activities.
    • Provide training and mentorship to team members to build expertise and drive performance.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field. 5+ years of experience in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP, FDA).

    Experience in product release or quality assurance roles.:

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master’s degree in a related field.

    Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects.:

    Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

    Experience with data analysis and process improvement tools.:

    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    About the Zebulon Site:

    GSK’s Zebulon site is a global supplier of Respiratory and Solid Dose medicines to patients around the globe and the largest GSK Pharmaceutical secondary manufacturing site in North America. The site is located less than 30 minutes from downtown Raleigh, Wendell, Knightdale, Rocky Mount, Wilson, and Wake Forest.
