    Job Description

    Overview THE ROLE: The Sr. Lead Facility Maintenance Coordinator for the 1st Shift will work with outside vendors and within a cross-departmental environment to ensure the uninterrupted operation of various facility / utilities services programs in both manufacturing buildings. Job functions include being responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, in one or more fields (e.g., carpentry, electrical, buildings roller doors, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); plumbing, etc.). Train and assign Facilities mechanics. Perform other tasks as assigned.

    HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

    • Manage and Conduct inspections of work completed by facility service contractors and Facility mechanics and investigate concerns related to these projects and programs, keep spare parts inventory for this equipment.• Monitor vendor performance and communicate effectively with them to achieve maximum productivity for the programs.• Evaluate programs for cost savings opportunities and submit proposals to management for program alteration to achieve this goal.• Sustain neat and orderly stock rooms for facility related supplies.• Accept, manage, and prioritize internal work requests for facility service needs and communicate them to appropriate parties.• Submit requisitions for purchasing approval for required facility service’s needs.• Maintain project calendar and assist in ensuring timely completion of Facility Services projects.• Schedule project implementation dates, coordinating with all impacted parties. If needed, serve as an escort while contractor is in the facility and oversee their compliance with cGMP and other facility rules and regulations.• Perform major repairs and electrical work as needed.• Training other mechanics and facility personal to perform contractor duties to reduce reliance on contractors and save costs.• Manage the shift mechanics when the lead maintenance mechanic and 1st shift supervisor are not available.• Manage and Submit project PARs to engineering for facility needs.• Train Facility mechanics how to contact and schedule contractors.• Other duties assigned by management.

    Our maintenance team takes pride in providing a complete service of keeping the facilities and equipment in good repair for the Herbalife Lake Forest Manufacturing Plant.Consistent, clear communication between all 3 shifts and all departments to enable us to perform efficiently. Job Qualifications

    SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    Skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Requires strong interpersonal skills.• Leadership skills with the ability to direct and manage others and/or activities.• Strength with basic math with attention details and handling invoices to ensure accuracy from vendors.• Good computer skills. Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office with strength in Microsoft Excel and e-Maintenance. Versatile in other computer applications and systems, with emphasis with Oracle and other ordering and/or stocking systems. • Highly organized with the ability to maintain numerous ongoing projects. Previous experience handling multiple projects demonstrated.• Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers• Manual dexterity required

    Experience: • Experience in a manufacturing and/or corporate setting• Project and vendor management experience • 6 years of leadership experience• Negotiation experience with vendors• Able to work with ERP systems such as Oracle, Agile, EMaint or etc.• Experience managing and organizing Maintenance activities.

    Education:

    • High school Diploma or GED equivalent

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Associates Degree or Technical Degree
