Idlewild and SoakZone in Ligonier, PA, is seeking a Seasonal Group Sales Events Coordinator to assist through the operating season and partial off-season.
The Coordinator will work alongside the Group Sales Manager, Catering Manager, and the park’s Marketing Director and Events Team at large in managing in-park group events, working with corporate and organizational professionals booking at the park, assisting with all group picnic details, and assisting in various in-park events held at Idlewild and SoakZone throughout the year.
The person who joins the Idlewild and SoakZone Sales & Events team will receive on-the-ground training in managing the reputation of one of the most treasured institutions in Pennsylvania and the amusement industry. Applicants must exhibit excellent work ethic and communication

Welcome all guests with a friendly smile and inviting manner! Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests Execution of corporate functions and special event set-up and tear down, often with multiple events on the same day, with each event having its own unique set up

This would include pre-planning, and day-of execution of Group Events such as Showcase of Stars, Cheerleading competition, Scout days and other large and small group picnics and catered events Assisting Group Sales team with phone inquiries, ticket printing and mailing as needed Secondary to the primary role of Group Sales Coordinator, as schedule permits, this role may also assist the park Events team with In-park Promotional Event setup and operations to include character meet and greets, dance-party executions, and more Additional duties include maintaining recreational facilities, departmental equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and safety in assigned areas and performing all tasks in compliance with company safety guidelines and
