We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Research Technician – Flow Cytometry to work in the Moody Foundation Flow Cytometry Core facility under the direction of Dr. Sean Morrison at the Children’s Medical Center Research Institute (CRI), UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas
The Morrison lab’s goal is to better understand the mechanisms that regulate stem cell function and how cancer cells hijack these mechanisms to enable tumor formation. A better understanding of these mechanisms offers the potential for new regenerative medicine and cancer therapies. For more information

What You:
’ll Do: Establish, maintain, and lead complex operations and analyses of specimens in a research environment. Operate flow cytometers, including sorters and analyzers, maintain equipment, and establish quality control procedures. Work closely with research scientists and assist in the training of new users.
