Position Title: Mountain Bike Guide

Classification: Summer Seasonal FT

Role Responsibilities

• Guides are available for assignments from 9:00am daily
• Awareness of all current mountain conditions
• Operates safely and makes sound decisions regarding appropriate terrain

selection

• Ability to assess guest and make lesson/terrain selections based on guest’s

ability

• Provide consistent exceptional customer service
• Sell guided experiences
• Outline the best ride for the rider/rider group.  Knowledge of paths and

trails for riding must be developed to a high level in order to maximize the customers ride experience

• Present yourself as a Mountain Resort ambassador by engaging the guests and

providing Resort-wide information

• Able to safely load mountain bikes onto lifts.

• Bicycle experience-preferred

• Enjoy physical activity
• Enjoy being outside in variable weather conditions
• Confidence in ability to instruct groups and enforce procedures
• Excellent understanding of teamwork and communication with peers and

supervisors.

• Ability to work with diverse groups and ages of people

• Mountain bikes and primary tools and supplies associated with the maintenance

and repair of mountain bikes and their related safety equipment (helmets, armor, etc.).

• Strong guest services skills
