Summer Camp Counselor

Job Details Job Location: Latin Lower School - Chicago, IL 60610 Position Type: Seasonal Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.00 Hourly Job Category: Childcare - Child Development It's never the same and you may very well end up earning the titles of 'Fun Facilitator' and/or 'Superhero'. Summer @ Latin staff are the best in the business at helping kids build new friendships, inspiring their curiosity, and extending their learning beyond the classroom while having a legendary time doing it. There is no more fun and exciting way to grow as a leader and professional than working with Summer @ Latin.

Our Summer Camp Counselor works closely with Senior Counselors to help provide a safe, fun-filled day for their Campers. 8 weeks starting June 8th through July 31st Works on a team with Senior Counselor to provide a safe, supportive environment for each camper

• Assist in positive growth of campers by planning and facilitating daily camp activities
• Assist with swimming lessons, other specialty area instruction and lunch service

Other activities as needed

Qualifications:

Applicants must be 15 years of age to apply. Preference given to candidates having experience working with children and youth. Should be a highly motivated, creative-thinker that is interested in learning more about child development. Candidates should be prepared to provide an excellent summer experience for children.

15-year-old applicants will need to acquire a work permit through their school. Compensation: Seasonal Full and part-time jobs available. Starting at $15/hour.
