SUMMARY:
- Performs a variety of duties to deliver, via forklift, molds and supplies to and from rotational mold machines.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivers molds, powders, diaphragm boxes, empty gaylords and pallets to rotational mold machines or storage location in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintains hopper levels for powder on roto machines and transact in SAP.
- Delivers molds to and from mold shop, pre-mold and mold balance.
- Reviews mold rack to move molds not being utilized to the offsite warehouse.
- Reviews roto run sheet daily for changeovers to schedule to ensure appropriate molds are delivered on time.
Moves raw materials as necessary for Machine Shop. Remove scrap bins and dispose of appropriately.
- Delivers pallets to Rotational MoldDepartment and Injection Molding Department.
- Assists Fabrication/Design department in the transfer of large cases from the floor to the assembly tables.
- Assists Test Lab in forklift-related tasks as needed.
- Maintains mold locations and labels in the specified racks.
- Follow all proper safety protocols required to operate the fork lift (daily checklist, fill battery cells with water, report any issues)
- Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to follow all established safety procedures and guidelines. Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions. Valid driver’s license and completion of Pelican driving test for forklifts.

Actively supports and complies with Pelican’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement. Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels. Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime. Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice. Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be constantly required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers). While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
