- Responsible for proactively ensuring on-site inventory levels and logistics

The position is responsible for the coordination, delivery of materials (i.e. sand, etc.), costing, and inventory carrying levels Position involves supply chain process flows, inventory management, transportation, freight analysis, invoice auditing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
Available on a 24/hr. call basis to respond to customer needs when necessary to maintain the highest level of customer service Responsible to ensure the logistic is adequately staffed with sand trucks to support the fleets in the assigned districts.
- Monitor Third Party Carriers usage to ensure the correct number of trucks /companies are being utilized.
- Responsible for the local carrier relationships and the carrier base in the assigned district Develop the communication plan for daily operational status updates through the District Coordinators and Lead Logistics/Coordinator of each assigned geographical District.
- Responsible for reducing demurrage and Stand-By time through well thought out and planned flow of Proppants to the job site.
- Ensure the pad is properly coordinated and the design allows for the most efficient truck turns.
All NPT or demurrage must be investigated and reported to the District Coordinators and Lead Logistics/Coordinator daily. Continuously reviewing rates to ensure best rates in district and exploring all potential cost saving avenues. Responsible to evaluate the carriers to ensure compliance to all company policies and Procedures Ensure all steps are taken to provide a safe working environment and that all OSHA and D.O.T.
regulations are followed.
- Process any driver/warehouse payroll/time sheets so payroll can be closed by the established cut off time.
Audit company trucks for DOT compliance and service hours.
- Ensure utilization of company trucks.
Inspect company equipment for cleanliness and maintaining operational status Be a leader in the organization and always represent the Company in a professional manner within the industry and public sector.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Provide guidance and training to all field personnel related to the processing, control, documentation, transferring, and physical inventory for all locations Provides coaching and training to employees to ensure compliance to company policies and practices.
- Responsible for the daily monitoring of open po’s, Goods receipts, cycle counts, charge out, transfers.
etc. to ensure inventory is properly stated in each field location Open Po’s must be within a normal aging based on lead time All paperwork must be completed and entered into the system daily before end of shift Responsible for periodic reviews of inventory levels with district management to ensure proper inventory types are stocked at each location Responsible to actively monitor slow inventory, reviewing with district leadership on treatment of slow inventory Responsible to ensure all field store personnel understand their position and how it impacts the overall companies’ financial goals Responsible for the security of the inventory in each location
All issues related to the security must be documented and addressed with district leadership and the Distribution Manager-Manufacturing Responsible for the accuracy of inventory through cycle counts and at least one physical inventory at year end. Responsible to train all field personnel on the business monitoring dashboards created to assist in the management of inventory Optimize inventory in the field to support the business Performs other related duties as required.
