The Director of AP, Omni-Channel Fraud & Supply Chain manages the Omni-Channel Fraud team, Loss Analytics, and Supply Chain AP teams. The role focuses on reducing fraud risk, protecting inventory and financial assets, and improving support for replenishment and fulfillment operations.
This manager works with partners in Retail, Digital, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Technology, and Customer Support. The goal is to design and carry out strategies that prevent losses, enhance operations, and build member and customer trust. Models and acts in line with REI’s values and mission.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
People Leadership Identifies and communicates key responsibilities, priorities, and success measures for the OCF, Loss Analytics, and Supply Chain AP teams.
- Provides coaching, direction, and leadership support to ensure alignment with REI’s mission and key business outcomes.
- Ensures employees adhere to legal, regulatory, and operational compliance requirements.
- Oversees training, development, and performance management of directly and indirectly supervised employees.
- Builds a high-performance team culture centered on collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.
Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the development and implementation of enterprise fraud mitigation and supply chain protection strategies.
- Oversees fraud analytics and reporting capabilities to monitor patterns, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend systemic improvements.
Directs enterprise investigations into fraud, theft, organized retail crime, and supply chain security issues.
- Builds and manages processes to prevent chargebacks, digital fraud, loyalty abuse, and omni-channel exploitation.
- Oversees security programs across replenishment and fulfillment operations, including DCs, 3PL partners, and transportation nodes.
Partners with Technology, Digital, and Finance to implement solutions (e.g., fraud detection tools, user behavior analytics, exception reporting).
- Ensures compliance with REI policies and applicable regulations regarding fraud, theft, and supply chain risk.
- Develops and manages the team’s annual operating and capital budgets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of progressive asset protection, fraud management, or related retail/supply chain risk experience, with 5+ years in leadership.
- Demonstrated success building and leading fraud prevention and loss analytics programs.
Distribution Center or Warehousing experience; familiarity with product movement through various channels preferred. Exceptional knowledge of fraud detection tools, analytics platforms, and operational risk management practices. Direct experience with fraud tools, payment systems, chargeback management, and/or exception-based reporting.
Ability to work effectively with different divisions and across the enterprise.

Pay Range
$140,300.00 - $238,600.00 per year
