Description:
What is the role? Shell China Lubricants are building a highly professional, commercially focused organization. This is your chance to work as a member of the Shell China B2B Lubricants Team, in conjunction with Marketing and Technical, to drive the unstoppable strategy 2030 for the industry sectors and develop a compelling customer offer to grow our business.
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for working with distributors/Key Account Distributors and finding New Route To Market (RTM) to grow B2B lubricants business by increasing volume and margin in named region, sectors and customers.

’ll be doing Exceed team and individual KPIs as set by the Regional Sales Manager Deliver Shell CVPs to end-users in an efficient, cost effective, consistent and sustainable way Hunting new customers and building up new RTM, aligned with shell B2B market strategy, in designated region, sectors and named customers Creative thinking and result driven, plan customer calls and visits to find new opportunities to achieve individual sales targets (e.g. margin, growth, named customer CVP) Understand the activity, business and needs of customers, provide sound information and advice on products, application and services, and to sell and negotiate win-win solutions with customers
Be responsible and proactive in HSSE issue that affects the individual, the office/field environment, distributors and their customers.
What you:
bring Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, or a related major. With proven sector developing
experience:
are preferred, Mining, Power, Chemical, OBOR and Design Institute (e.g. CNCEC, CEEC, POWER CHINA etc) Professional Key Account developing
experience:
with proven records- mainly within Mining sector, Petrochemical sector, Metal Sector and Power sector customers in Shaanxi and Sichuan Province Strong interpersonal

and able to build constructive relationships with customers and distributors.

We are proud that today: Since BG acquisition in 2016, Shell further enhances its leading position in LNG supply to China. Shell’s Changbei project is “a flagship Sino-foreign cooperative project in Upstream development”, supplying cleaner natural gas to Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong and Hebei Provinces.
Changbei Project produced 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2008, contributing a green 2008 Beijing Olympics. The production reached 3.3 billion in 2009 and continued for 12 consecutive years. This annual production of Changbei amounts 17% of the natural gas supply of Beijing in 2019. the world-class CSPC (CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited ) is one of the largest sino-foreign petrochemical joint ventures in China.
Shell Energy China (SEC) is one of the first wholly owned foreign entities to participate in the China’s carbon emissions market, and is one of the first foreign entities that have registered to trade in the China’s power market. Shell Lubricants has been the global market leader for 15 consecutive years Shell has the leading network of retail sites among IOCs in China; Shell has a deep and growing partnership with Chinese national oil companies outside of China; Shell China had honorned Poverty Alleviation Ambassador Award by CFPA.
