    to those who may seek permanent employment with the state. This temporary position is with NC Agriculture – Forest Services (NCFS), located at 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh NC, Wake County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.00 (Based on

    reflected on the application). The NCFS is seeking a dynamic candidate for a full-time, temporary Fire Dispatcher / Operations. The selected candidate for this role will: • Monitor the NCFS Operations Room Phone • Monitor the NCFS Burn Permit Hotline and assist external customers with limited technical service in obtaining NCFS Burn Permits.

    • Monitor the NC Emergency Management WebEOC program and respond to requests as needed.
    • Monitor the IROC program (computer-based program used to dispatch resources to wildfire incidents across the nation) and assist in dispatching NCFS resources as needed.
    • Assist with review and preparation of Administratively Determined employee annual documentation.
    • Communicate and coordinate with NCFS Regional Ops rooms and Asheville Interagency Dispatch (USFS) for dispatch of NCFS personnel and resources to incidents within North Carolina and across the nation.
