    of Work The HVAC Mechanic II is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of heating ventilation & air conditioning equipment ranging from 0.5 to 150 ton capacity, hot water boiler systems, commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment, commercial & domestic ice machines, air compressors, and pneumatic controls, & Energy Management systems.

    Normal work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday with participation in weekly on-call on a rotational basis. Knowledge

    Ability to walk, stand, kneel, crawl, climb, stoop, & lift. Ability to perform very heavy work. Require visual acuity to be able to perform activities for the job such as operating machinery or performing mechanical trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature. Ability to work within environmental factors such as cold or hot temperatures inside or outside.

    This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events. Shift Hours: 1st shift (7:30 am – 4:00 pm), Monday – Friday, weekends, holidays, and evenings after 4:00 pm as necessary; emergency or inclement weather callback. Required to perform on-call duties as primary or secondary on-call staff.
