    of Work In partnership with stakeholders, the Information Technology Division (ITD) of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) provides excellence in information technology delivery to enable NCDHHS’ mission and goals. Our team ensures that NCDHHS has consistent, cost-effective, reliable, accessible, and secure technology services.

    This Network Manager position is a member of the ITD NC FAST team. This position reports to ITD Infrastructure Director, Network, Server & Cloud. North Carolina Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) is the Department of Health and Human Services' automation initiative to provide families and clients with an effective and seamless service delivery process.

    This position provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the NC FAST Networking and Server Support teams. The role is responsible for managing daily operations, developing and implementing effective processes and procedures, and ensuring optimal resource allocation and performance reporting.

    It also encompasses the recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of team members, including performance management and disciplinary actions when necessary. Additionally, the position leads planning and analysis efforts related to network infrastructure and server technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    The position will be responsible for managing infrastructure hardware hosted in Raleigh and Forest City, NC. The role is accountable for establishing and maintaining operational standards and documentation for both network and server support functions. Knowledge
