Level: High School Diploma/GEDSalary Range: $14.00 - $16.11 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: CampSchedule/Hours: Monday – Friday – 8:00 – 5:30 (40 hours) This position is responsible for: Plans and provides activities and childcare services for children participating in the Summer Day Camp Program.
- Plans, develops, and facilitates recreational activities and play time.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of Corps property.
- Assists in facilitating and supervising summer Day Camp Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and constant care for the needs of the children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner.
- Facilitates activities for school age children; ensures that activities are age appropriate, stimulating, fun and safe for the children Prepares and serves children snacks and meals; ensures that children receive nutritional and tasteful food; provides positive, relaxed atmosphere during children mealtime encouraging conversation.
- Assists with transporting children whenever needed; ensures the safety and protection of children at all times.
- Assists in preparing and providing field trips for children.
