, Created 12/25 Working Title: Link Center Summer Camp Lead Counselor Business Title: Student Supervisor, Level III Office Location: Swenson Hall, Suite 1061 Reports to: Outreach Program Manager- Camps and Clinics Manager Position Summary: The Link Center serves as the central access point at the University of Wisconsin-Superior for career services, academic service-learning, internships, undergraduate research, voter engagement, strategic partnerships, employer relations, and regional outreach.
This position will work collaboratively with the Camp and Clinics manager and other Link Center Staff by providing camp program planning and implementation and on-going supervision of the day-to-day camp operations and program staff. Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute all camp activities Assist in creating and facilitating weekly camp lesson plans Manage the welfare of campers by understanding safety procedures and promoting a positive environment Use of personal judgement in incidents that occur throughout the day Supervising camper safety by administering first aid and contact emergency services as necessary Document and maintain group and individual attendance, and provide supervision to campers throughout the day Enforce proper disciplinary actions regarding camper behavior Ensure proper care of camper information, emergency contacts, and incident reporting Demonstrate punctuality, follow payroll procedures, and proper employee attire expectations Other duties as assigned Knowledge,

Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a timely manner, and meet project deadlines. Ability to problem solve situations with campers as they arise. Values differences among individuals and ideas.
- Follow guidelines, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Student Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:
Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at UW-Superior. Must be able to commit to working up to 40 hours per week during the summer Must have
