The Global Brand Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is the strategic finance partner for Altra’s global leadership. We drive the brand’s financial vision by creating and analyzing short-term and long-term plans that shape the future of the business.
As Director of Global FP&A, you will lead the development of strategic financial plans, model new growth opportunities, and partner across functions to monitor progress against key initiatives. Your work will include embedding financial checkpoints throughout the product creation process, ensuring alignment with margin expansion goals, product KPIs tied to the long-range plan, and closing gaps versus strategic outlook.
You’ll collaborate closely with global brand leaders, Merchandising, Planning & Product Development, Strategy, Supply Chain, and regional finance teams to deliver insights that influence decisions and drive performance. Be the Strategic Finance Partner Act as the primary point of contact for the Global Brand President, leading the coordination and delivery of key enterprise communications and reviews—including global town halls, quarterly business reviews, and strategic updates to VF leadership.
Shape the Long-Term Vision Build and maintain a 5-year rolling financial plan in partnership with global strategy, merchandising, product, supply chain, and regional finance teams. Influence brand plans through a financial lens to support sustainable growth. Turn Insights into Action Analyze short-term performance and long-term trends across all channels using KPIs from multiple sources.
- Provide innovative, data-driven solutions that impact business outcomes.
- Drive Margin Expansion Establish key financial checkpoints to influence pricing architecture, design-to-value initiatives, sourcing strategies, and regional adoption.
- Monitor KPIs to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
Control Global Costs Oversee global brand expenses—including marketing, merchandising, product development, and innovation—while partnering with HR to ensure visibility into hiring and promotion processes. Enable Strategic Investments Support global digital transformation and supply chain initiatives by setting expectations for future investments aligned with growth drivers.
Standardize and Simplify Develop a global cost framework that enables clear accountability and comparison across regions, driving efficiency and transparency.
- Support Go-to-Market Success Partner on the global GTM process, providing financial feedback and updating rolling models based on growth initiatives and assortment changes.
Tell the Story Behind the Numbers Consolidate global financials and deliver clear commentary on performance versus plan, highlighting key variances in consumer, product, and marketplace metrics. What do you need to succeed? We all have unique
