The YMCA of the North Shore is now hiring energetic and enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our Cape Ann Summer Camps team for Summer 2026! Where You’ll Work 🌊 Camp Spindrift – Gloucester

Set on 46 acres of stunning woodlands and waterfront marsh, Camp Spindrift offers a classic outdoor camp experience. As a counselor, you’ll help campers:

Learn to swim and cool off in our outdoor pool Explore the Annisquam River by kayak and boat Play games and sports on expansive fields

• Participate in weekly themed activities and celebrations

It’s a summer full of adventure, laughter, and lifelong memories—for campers and staff. 🎭 Performance Camp Our summer theatre intensive invites campers of all experience levels to build skills in acting, music, dance, and design. Working alongside theatre professionals, counselors support a four-week program that culminates in two live performances—boosting confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

🏀 Additional Camps at the Local Y Including Sports Camp, Cheer Camp, and more—offering flexibility and variety in your summer role. Your Role as a Camp Counselor

• Lead engaging games, activities, and adventures

Qualifications:

If you are looking to expand your resume and develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, this may be the summer job opportunity for you! Camp Counselors must be a minimum of 16 years of age Preferred work schedule is Monday-Friday (5 days) throughout the camp season, 8am-5pm Must have reliable transportation to ensure the ability to commute to and arrive at camp on time daily
