Job DetailsJob Location: Deckers, CO 80135Salary Range: $480.00 - $480.00 SalaryOverview: The Ropes Course Director will manage a safe and positive
experience:
for campers on the high ropes course, low ropes course, climbing wall, and natural rock climbing wall. Will constantly enforce regulations and practices that ensure the physical, mental, social, and emotional safety of all participants and staff. Job Segments: Manage a safe and positive challenge course/climbing wall for participants utilizing challenge by choice.
- Organize and lead initiatives, low ropes, high ropes course, climbing wall and natural rock climbing wall depending on the age of the campers.
Inspect the course(s) daily to insure that the equipment is safe and functional. Complete accurate usage logs on a daily basis. Immediately report any safety, health or equipment maintenance problems to the Camp Program Director upon discovery.
- Maintain inventory of necessary equipment/supplies, and inform Program Director of needed supplies in a timely fashion.
Act as a positive role model for campers and other staff, demonstrating the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in the performance of
job duties:
- Prepare for and actively participate in staff training and staff meetings.
Play an active role in all camp activities. May be called upon to live with a cabin group or to assist counselors with a cabin group. Will work stay over weekends as assigned.
- Evaluate current season, make suggestions, and create a Ropes Course Director manual for following season.
Other duties as may be assigned. These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required. Salary is $480.00/weekly

At least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent Previous challenge
experience:
and AMGA, IFMGA (ASI), NOLS or other top rope certification required. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Oxygen and First Aid Certifications High School diploma or equivalent required Prior
experience:
with youth or family programming. Job

Must have a sincere and genuine interest in working with youth, and should relate well to all age levels and backgrounds of people.

Requirements:
Physically fit and able to hike, walk, stand, bend and lift comfortably over the course of a day. Mentally and visually alert to recognize potential hazards and accidents. Physically and mentally able to respond to emergencies and administer emergency care effectively.
