Summary Description: Reporting to the Patio Distribution Supervisor, the Assistant Patio Supervisor assists in overseeing the operations of the patio distribution center, ensuring efficient handling and distribution of patio products. This role supports the Patio Distribution Supervisor in supervising staff, coordinating deliveries, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising delivery vehicle drivers and warehouse staff at the Lakewood Distribution Center.
• Aid in coordinating the receiving and storage of patio merchandise from vendors and stores, ensuring accurate documentation and organization.
• Support the Patio Distribution Supervisor in coordinating the loading of patio merchandise onto Christy Sports� trucks for intra-store deliveries and outgoing transfers.
• Assist in overseeing deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Help control the flow of patio merchandise between the back-stock area and the store, maintaining proper inventory levels.
• Support the Patio Distribution Supervisor in other duties as assigned, providing assistance as needed to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to work in a supervisory capacity, or willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
• Preferred background in warehouse shipping/receiving operations.
• Ability to operate a truck (below CDL requirements) is desirable.
• Possession of a valid operator�s license and willingness to undergo an approved driving background review.
• Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including basic software applications.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required to support business needs.

Budgeted range starts at: $19-$21.50/hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
