Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior-Level Data Governance Analyst to support the National Park Service (NPS) in building and implementing an enterprise-wide data governance and management program. This role focuses on the development and execution of governance frameworks, standards, policies, and best practices to ensure enterprise data quality and consistency. This is a full-time position contingent upon contract award, with potential remote work flexibility upon approval.
Data Governance Duties:
Support the development and execution of NPS-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of enterprise data dictionaries and metadata inventory tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data/metadata standards.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather input, assess needs, and communicate policies.
Provide technical and procedural guidance to streamline enterprise data management processes.
Partner with IT personnel to develop and implement data quality standards and monitoring practices.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for data governance initiatives and deliver actionable reporting on program effectiveness.
Assist in the development and implementation of the NPS Data Strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
Coordinate resolution of data integrity gaps across business units and systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert to the NPS Data Governance Steering Committee.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC) or National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in enterprise data governance or data management roles.
Proven experience developing and operationalizing data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams to align data governance practices.
Strong background in data quality management and metadata practices.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related technical field required.
Skills:
Strong understanding of data structures, databases, and metadata concepts.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders in a government environment.
