Camp Counselor

Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a organization serving people with disabilities. We are celebrating our over 100 years of providing services to individuals with disabilities! We are looking to hire several dynamic Camp Counselors to join our team. Weekend camps for adults will be running Aug 15-17, Sept 19-21, Oct 3-5, Oct 10-12, Nov 14-16 and will be held in Millville, PA outside of Bloomsburg at Camp Lily. A weekend stipend of $250 is provided plus room and board for the weekend.  

JOB SUMMARY

Camp counselors are responsible for the day-to-day tasks that directly involve campers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age of 18 to staff adult camps
• PA Criminal Record Check
• Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Clearance
• Passing of physical examination and TB test

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise campers to ensure participant safety
• Motivate campers to participate in camp activities
• Identify individual goals and ensure campers are meeting their desired outcomes
• Implement and lead campers in age-appropriate activities
• Be willing and able to participate in all camp activities
