Day Camp Counselor

Will you be over age 16 and can commute to drive to camp each day?

Recently, we were rated #2 on the list of top summer camps in the USA. Mountain Camp Woodside looking for people who like working with kids and want to have a fun summer! MCW is located in Portola Valley, CA, which is about 20 minutes from Palo Alto.

Requirements

• Aged 16 for Junior Counselors and High School Graduates or older for Senior Counselors
• Likes working with kids
• Likes having fun and doesn't mind dressing in costume or doing other silly things
• Can commute to work each day (for day staff)

Responsibilities

• Responsible group of 8-20 kids with at least one co-counselor
• Leading different activities such as sports, arts, nature, or performing arts, depending on your skillset and interest
• Coming up with and playing different games throughout the day
• Having fun!!!

MCW hires Day Counselors from the local Bay Area, including places such as Menlo Park, Redwood City, Belmont, San Jose, and San Francisco. A number of the Day Counselors will be hired to work in our Cub Program, working with our 5-6-year old campers. Your day will consist of singing songs, playing games, leading activities, and dressing up in silly outfits.

For our Resident Counselors, We recruit counselors from as close as Palo Alto and as far as Australia, the United Kingdom, and other places all over the world and we believe that the unique atmosphere created by this cultural exchange adds to our camp experience.

Pay: $550.00 - $700.00 per week
