For our Events-Team in the Central Cluster, we are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and open person with excellent organization and time-management skill to support us for our Events in Switzerland.
As an Event Specialist you are responsible for the conception and execution of dedicated Events in the DACH-Region (primary Switzerland) amd you will directly report to the Event Manager who is located in our Office in Holzkirchen (Germany).

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Organization and execution of assigned B2C and B2B Events like Demo Events, Festivals, Exhibitions/Trade-fairs for the DACH Region (Central Cluster) to elevate sell-through in our market
Budget- and staff planning (internal & external), as well as cost control for the events you are responsible for
If applicable. research and check of locations
Communication with the location or the organization team of an event concerning the requirements etc.
Loading and driving of event-vehicles
Set-up and dismantling of the event-area (tents, bike setup, etc.)
Maintenance of event-material and handling of test bikes
Consumer-facing service at the event (bike set-up, communication with customers and giving product information/sales advices)
Preparation of event-reports (analyzing the relevant event data)
General management of the event attendance (registration and communication)
Responsibility for the warehouse and inventory of the Event Department
Provide Support to the Sales Team by coordinating requests regarding Test Bikes and Event Material
Work closely together with the Marketing Team
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO WIN
Academic background with a degree in sports- or event management or other related fields
2+ years of experience in event organization or project management
Identification with the brand, strong enthusiasm for cycling as well as familiarity with the peculiarities of the cycling industry
High quality standards, a strong sense of service and customer orientation
Self-confident appearance as well as ability and willingness to take responsibility
Creative and conceptual way of working and a good sense of detail
Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to work within a dynamic environment in a solution-oriented manner and to keep calm even in hectic situations
Strong communication and interpersonal competencies
Hands on mentality
Flexible attitude and willingness to work on weekends
Driving license category B is a must, category BE is a plus
Bike Mechanic skills are a plus
Excellent MS Office skills (MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
Language skills: German and English (native / advanced), French is an advantage
